Mise-en-scene

 Mise-en-scene Project

For this project me and my group members had to create a station which represented our given character. Our character was a single banker who liked to go to the gym, had a dog, and liked throwing parties. Me and my team had to come up with a creative and interactive way of representing our character. We decided to create a minecraft world which people got to play on to see the life of our character.

Character Development

To show a good representation of our character, we created all the settings of where our character goes in the minecraft world. For example, because he is a banker, we built a bank in the minecraft world. We did this for all things that represent him like building a gym, an apartment, a party room, and a dog park. We also put up signs to guide each person playing where to go and where to see each setting.

Reflection

Overall, our project was very interactive and I can boldly say it was likely the most interactive station. However, there were some areas to improve. We forgot to add music to help represent our character even further through the use of different senses. More props also could have been brought to make the station look nicer for the audience. But in the end our project was a very fun one to create and was also very fun for the audience. Below are some of the videos I used to help build the settings.
